A native Angeleno, TJ was raised in a traditional Filipino household and grew up watching wrestling and Stallone movies with her father and sister.

Her love for film and television developed as a young child, as she used to re-enact scenes from The Mighty Duck movies and Back to the Future. She went on to earn her B.A. in Mass Communications and M.F.A in Film at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. She has been working in film and television for over a decade and strives to bring forth innovative and dynamic media to the screen.
